Rumor: Leaked Document Suggests The Evil Within 2 Might Be In Development

1

A leaked document suggests that The Evil Within 2 might be in development. If this indeed comes to fruition the game would be a successor to the 2014 title The Evil Within which was released for consoles and PC’s worldwide.

Developed  by Tanga Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks , the game was directed by Shinji Mikami who is also the creator of the Resident Evil series. The game was positively received and many regard it as one of the more underappreciated titles around.

Now coming to the rumor , An image has been circulating which shows a job posting for a translation and quality assurance bug reporting for “Psycho Break 2”. For those of you who might be unaware, Psycho Break was the title of the Japanese version of the game. Here is the leaked job posting for referencing

Even though it does look legit , we would again advise you to take it as a rumor , as there is no official confirmation that the game is indeed under development.

The original game told the story of Sebastian Castellanos a veteran police detective who wakes up to find himself in a distorted reality and must find out what brought him to this existence while trying to figure out the origins and the purpose of the invincible apparition known as Ruvik.

If you by any chance have not yet played the game , it is highly recommended that you do so. The game is reminiscent of the original Resident Evil titles , and adds a further dimension to it by incorporating elements of  mystery, sci-fi and mysticism which mix really well with the survival horror genre.

Although nothin is certain , I strongly suspect that we will receive some sort of announcement about The Evil within 2 come E3 2017. Let us know your opinions by commenting in the comments section below.

Please, make it for PC too, I bought the first one, don’t betray me like that, pleeeease… No, seriously, I liked the first one very much – not many 3rd person horror games left, I am really craving for more.
