Ever spend a shitload of time on constructing the perfect settlement and then feel the urge to show it off to others? Or maybe you’d like to just skip the hassle entirely and just import a design you like? Lucky for you can now do this through a mod.
Fallout 4 mods offer plenty of wonderful features that go beyond reskining and texture work. The mod we’re focusing on definitely matches the criteria of what you’d call an extremely useful mod.
It’s known as Transfer Settlements which is pretty much self explanatory; the mod lets you to export your settlement design into external data files. These files are known as blueprints, and anyone else that uses the mod can import them into their own game.
In addition as the mod’s description highlights, this could pave the way for shareable settlement blueprints on modding websites.
Once you install the mod, you’ll see a holotape in your inventory called Transfer Settlements under Settings that captures the settlement design when used. You’ll have to use the tape at your settlement, and wait for it to export. You’ll find the blueprints under Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\blueprints in your Fallout 4 installation folder.
If you’re wondering where you can find this mod, you can download it from here. Please note that the mod is only available on PC.
