Ubisoft Spain just let it slip via Twitter that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be coming for the Nintendo Switch as well. The official spanish twitter channel of the company announced this recently through a tweet. Nintendo Switch users can have something to look forward to since a lot of third-party games are making it’s way to the console. Here is an image which depicts Ubisoft Spain announcing the title for the Nintendo Switch
However after this happened the Ubisoft Spain page quickly took to Twitter , and went on to say that as of this time there is no concrete platform for Beyond Good And Evil 2. Curiously enough they did not come out and categorically deny a Switch or PC port. Here is the Tweet in question.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 no tiene concretadas las plataformas en este momento. Lo expresado de Pc es un error de asignacion de este site. https://t.co/a1YnT7pATS

Basically they are saying this is a site allocation error , and no ports for the Switch or PC are confirmed. For that matter no platform is as of yet confirmed. However it does not sound very convincing and looks like marketing lingo to maintain some sort of a surprise.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 takes place a long time before the events of the first game, acting solely as a prequel to the original. Players will get to explore System 3 and experience amazing adventures with unforgettable characters of the Beyond Good and Evil universe. The story will follow our young protagonists in the search of freedom in a vast and dangerous solar system that is completely unique to the game. Choosing your own fate will be the main focus of the open world adventure which you can either explore alone or with friends to enhance the experience.
The game was officially revealed at Ubisoft’s E3 2017 conference and it took us all by surprise. The game is coming almost 15 years after the first was released and many people were not expecting it to ever happen. The game is still very early in development but we will get to see more of it throughout it’s development cycle so be sure to check back for anything new.
