It was confirmed earlier this year that we will be getting a sequel to 2010’s Xenoblade Chronicles. Nintendo decided to reveal some more details about the game’s characters and mechanics during a Nintendo Direct livestream (November 7). During this, a brand new trailer was shown which showcased a lot of different characters in the game and there were also some DLC announcements too.
There will be a day-one DLC that will allow players to retain the original Japanese voice acting with english subtitles for the native-English audience that wants the authentic experience. Another thing announced was that the game’s Expansion Pass is now available for purchase for $29.99 which will include a lot of different DLCs being released throughout 2018. The roadmap for these releases is down below:
- Support Items For Your Journey – Starting December 2017
- New Quests for the Main Game – Starting January 2018
- New Rare Blade – Spring 2018
- New Challenge Battle Mode – Summer 2018
- A Brand-New Story and Adventure! – Autumn 2018
There was also a new DLC announced for Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of the Wild. The DLC will add a new quest in the game that, upon completion, will allow the player to equip link with the same costume that Rex wears in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which is pretty interesting. This will go live on November 9 so be sure to check that out.
