Backwards compatibly is one of Xbox’s biggest assets , and now the is Xbox Game Pass as well. Curious to find out what it is ?

Apparently it is a new subscription service which will be headed our way this spring. For the price of $9.99 per month you will get access to over 100 Xbox One and backwards compatible 360 games. This means is you can now have access to a plethora of different Xbox One and 360 titles with a monthly subscription service. You can download the likes of Halo 5: Guardians ,  NBA 2K 16 , Payday 2 and SoulCalibur II.

The best part is that you don’t have to  worry about streaming at all as you can download the titles directly to your Xbox One. We have been hearing a lot about how the gaming industry is slowly shifting towards a service based model, and this announcement by Microsoft is one which is bound to make its fans happy .

Game Pass will also feature exclusive discounts for its members so you can buy add on’s and expansions for a relatively cheap price. Furthermore it will also keep updating its game’s list every month to ensure that you have new content to choose from.

Game Pass will also be tested out via the Xbox Insider Program in the Alpha Preview ring. Starting today a limited number of titles are going to be tested out.

Xbox Live Gold members will also be receiving exclusive access to the Xbox Game Pass prior to its launch . Further details will be released at a later date.

This seems to be something that the Xbox community can really get behind , and is a fantastic idea . Let us know what do you think about Xbox Game Pass, and whether you will be signing up for it by commenting in the comments section below.
