The Marvel cinematic universe is preparing for the much anticipated, Avengers: The infinity war. But before dwelling into the new venture Marvel aims to connect the dots and develop robust story lines between characters.
In one of the latest developments a link has been created between the Ant-man and the studio’s upcoming first female led comic book movie, Captain Marvel. Before Captain Marvel gets a standalone movie she is set to appear in the Avengers: Infinity War and Marvel aims to give it fans a bit of familiarity with the character before she comes to the big screen.
Dr. Spiros Michalakis, a quantum physicist and staff researcher at the California Institute of Technology was hired by Marvel studios to advice them before the production of Ant Man. It was here where, Michalakis introduced the concept of Quantum Realm. It’s concept where things exist at a subatomic particle level. In a recent interview to the Inverse, Michalakis highlighted that this concept wouldn’t be limited to Ant Man alone and would be spread across different Marvel movies as well.
Michalakis in his interview to the Inverse mentioned that the concept of Quantum Realm would be applied in the Captain Marvel movie. He regarding the issue said that “This is exciting for the future. There are different ways that some of these ideas appear on-screen in a few years. Not just for Ant-Man, but also for Captain Marvel and all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Michalakis also did not lose the opportunity to brag about Ant- Man where he indicated that the Ant- Man can be Marvel’s most powerful super hero. He indicated that Ant Man’s reality allows him to bend the laws of Physics and mold reality according to his own will.
