A fan made Voldemort Origin Story titled Origins of the Heir will be released on YouTube with Warner Brothers blessing.

J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter series has turned out to be extremely successful among fans. Not only have the series novels flourished but the movies have also turned out to be money making machines. J.K Rowling was an artist that made use of her unique writing skills to keep the readers in awe. Not once did the readers felt bored while reading her novels. She gave the audience a whole new magical world to explore by eloquently taking us through a seven year journey of an ordinary boy turning into the savior of the wizarding world.

Although we tend to know a lot about Harry Potter, there is little we know of the villain Lord Voldemort, better known as “ He who must not be named.” That might all change as Warner Brothers has finally decided to give the go ahead to Tryangle Films  for a background of Voldemort’s history in his very own movie called the “Origins of the Heir.” Here we will explore into the back story of a young boy named Tom Marvolo Riddle.

The director of Tryangle Films, Gianmario Pezzato in an email statement to Polygon said that “We had a private and confidential discussion with Warner Bros who contacted us during the period of the crowdfunding campaign.” He further added that “The only thing we can say is that they let us proceed with the film, in a non profit way, obviously.” The movie is a non-profit venture and would be distributed for free on Youtube.

In the initial Harry Potter series while we got a terse background of Tom Marvolo’s history we never got to know the developments that turned him into a monstrous villains. Tryangle Films in this installment would explore this area in more detail. Gianmario regarding the issue said that “We wondered, ‘What made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back?’” He added “There are some clues in the books which have not been transposed at all in the movies, but a lot goes unspoken.”
