The Wolfhall takes a look at what Grant Gustin has to say about The Flash, and the direction in which the show might be headed
The Flash TV show is one DC TV show that has managed to captivate interest of the audience. The last season was quite an eventful one as the Flash faced one of his worst enemy, himself aka Savitar. Now as the season heads into the fourth season, Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) role would be taken over by Wally West (Keiyan Lonsdale) as the Flash.
Although fans would see a new Flash coming to their screens, the news now is quite old. But Grant Gustin has recently disclosed some new developments that are likely to keep the audience’s interest aroused. There is a possibility that Grant Gustin might return in the upcoming season but how the producers intends to bring him back isn’t completely known. Grant Gustin further pointed that the main objective of the producers was to move towards the Crisis on Infinite Earth.
While the new audience might not be familiar with Crisis on Infinite Earth storyline all the comic book fans would be as excited as ever. The story line would focus on a major villain Anti Monitor. The enemy will be so strong that superheroes from different multiverse will join forces to face off. During the Flash series we have often seen the Arrow and Supergirl cross paths. Perhaps the producers of all three shows were setting the stage for the Crisis on Infinite Earth Scenario.
The above mentioned details while seeming fruitful however have some time before they come into effect. As reported by the Premium Network Grant Gustin regarding the issue said that “We don’t really talk about on a yearly basis but it was mentioned early on and that’s a goal. Obviously, we’d have to go I think ten years to reach that. So there’s a possibility for sure. It’ll be fun to get there.”
