Here Are The Big Winners From The 35th Annual Golden Joystick Awards 2017

The 35th Annual Golden Joystick Awards took place this weekend in London where gaming achievements were recognized across all platforms.The Ultimate Game of the Year and Critics’ Choice awards have been swept up by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild those weren’t the only one that the game took home the others include Best Audio, Nintendo Game of the Year, and the Best Studio for Nintendo EPD.

The awards are awarded through a polling system online where millions of fans vote for their favorites in multiple and distinct categories. Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us Part II was voted to be the most highly anticipated game of the year.

Coming to eSports Overwatch was dubbed eSports Game of the Year, while Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds earned the Best Multiplayer Game, and PC Game of the Year trophies. Cuphead was crowned Xbox Game of the Year.

PS4’s Exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn was also sweeping quite the neat awards for themselves coming runner up to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in The Ultimate Game of the Year polling with Persona 5 coming in third, Horizon Zero Dawn took home a number of different accolades but still the night belonged to The Legend of Zelda breath of The Wild.   • Best Streamer/Broadcaster: Markiplier
  • Handheld/Mobile Game of the year: Pokémon Sun and Moon
