The first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 has surfaced on the internet due to a leak and it is promising. It was supposed to be shown publicly on the this week at the Star Wars Celebration event but it looks like it’s out early. You can watch the trailer over here.
The trailer promises a lot of stuff that was missing from the first game and the inclusion of a campaign has been showcased too. The trailer shows that the “untold soldier’s story” will be the focus of the campaign and the game will cover all of the Star Wars eras rather than sticking to just one. Famous characters of all times are present in the video trailer including Darth Maul, Rey, Yoda and Kylo Ren.
The addition of a story mode this time around is EA’s way of showing that they heard the fanbase and are trying to fix the mistakes that they did with the original Battlefront. There will be special content attached for people who pre-order the game and that content might be related to the upcoming movie The Last Jedi. EA has promised a more detailed game this time around, regarding the criticism that the first game received. There will also be improvements to the multiplayer making it more diverse and fun.
There is no official release date confirmed for Battlefront 2 but it is confirmed for the PS4, PC and Xbox One. The leaked trailer showcased the Playstation logos at the end and also had the tagline “The force is strong with Playstation” which confirms that Sony has partnered up with Disney for the game. There will still be an official reveal for the leaked trailer on April 15 and you can watch it live.
