Sony Bend Expands For Upcoming Game Days Gone


In E3 2016, Sony Bend’s Days Gone was announced, to the surprise of many . Initially it was thought the game would be similar to The Last Of Us , however with time it was established that the game would hold on it’s own and would incorporate the concept of an open world zombie survival RPG . The game has slowly been put on the back burner , and there have been very few details regarding the game’s story as a whole.However it now appears that development on the game is in full swing as Sony Bend has been increasing it’s workforce to work on PlayStation’s newest exclusive Days Gone.

Sony Bend increased its team from 45 men to 103 in order to develop the game. The Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Bend Studio is also going ahead with the development of its office Crane Shed Commons, the 50,000 sq. ft., in amidst the industrial Way. This is a primary Class A office space that will be built for the first time  in almost 10 years
As per Studio Director Chris Reese, there are no plans to shrink the studio prior to announcing the game. Since the studio is a leading developer of Sony and is to continue working on high-end projects after Days Gone. The new $966,560 of Sony Bend shall get the creativity overflowing for the upcoming project.

Sony Bend is going to screen Days Gone at E3 2017 again and this year, a release date is perhaps going to be accompanied with a trailer for the forthcoming game , and it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against already established PlayStation IP’s , and if it is released in 2018 , or beyond that.
Sony’s E3 2017 is going to show Sony’s exclusive lineup. Games such as The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Hellblade and others as well.
There are rumors that Days Gone is going to launch in 2018 on the PS4 and PS4 Pro which will be compatible to 4K and HDR Support.
