Sea Of Thieves Will Have A Plethora Of Post Release Content For Years To Come Says Dev

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves is an exclusive title for the Xbox One from Rare who developed Killer Instinct, which just so happens to also be an exclusive for the Xbox One. It is amongst the few exclusives that the console has , and early impressions suggest that the game is going to be well received by fans and critics alike.

Sea of Thieves is an MMO in a Pirate themed world where the limit of gameplay possibilities is your imagination. You yonder over the seas while plundering for booty , and at the same time you can also experience cross platform play with your buddies who prefer to be affiliated with the Master Race.

Recently  Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox said  that Sea of Thieves is a ”Multi-Year Journey for us” but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Rare is now backing that statement by vowing support for the game even after years of the games release next year.

Sea of Thieves executive producer, Joe Neate while speaking to the Xbox One Official Magazine also said that the game isn’t a ”Release and Done” deal or something to make sequels but to grow and mature into a platform.

Rare is also holding technical test to Optimize CPU and GPU , Moreover Joe Neate also stated that fans who are eager to play the game but feel that they don’t have the minimum specifications to run it (they’ve got you covered) as the team will keep working on the game as to lower the requirements however just because a low specs PC will be able to play the game better doesn’t mean that it has been downgraded to boost its performance. Joe Neate also stated that they didn’t want the game to look like shit (Not Kidding) in a year of its release and chasing upon its flaws all the time but improving upon it.

Sea of Thieves has no release date as of yet , but all signs indicate towards a release in the first quarter of 2018.
