It appears that Star Wars may be getting a brand new entry, that is if the reports on the internet regarding a trademark are to be believed. The trademarks have been filed under the name “Star Wars Resistance.” Currently it is not known whether these trademarks have been filed for comic books, movies or other games, at the time of writing this they may be anything since there has been no official announcement. However all the details of each filing is revealed below.
The latest development was released by Yakfaceforums.com. The description of all four trademarks were revealed on the website with their respective numbers. The first trade covers toys, games and playthings; gymnastic and sporting articles (except clothing); hand-held units for playing electronic games for use with or without an external display screen or monitor; skins for covering and protecting apparatus; paper party favors; paper party hats; Christmas stockings; Christmas tree ornaments and decorations; snow globes.
The second trademark covers clothing, foot wear and other head related wears. The third trademark includes material for publishing while the fourth trademark covers any item transferred on using a digital interface.
Star Wars has a huge fan base. Despite having such a long tenure, the franchise hasn’t lost its attractiveness and is still a fan favorite. The success of the recent Star Wars films is indicative of that. There are a number of things that the studio might be planning to do. Our most immediate guess is that another Star Wars movie might be in the pipeline , however I wont be surprised if the Star Wars universe is expanded to a TV series or anything other than Battlefront II for this generation consoles.
