Capcom have confirmed that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will allow players to transfer their save files across two platforms; PC and Xbox.
Cross saves such as this are starting to become a familiar sight, especially with the introduction of Microsoft’s ‘Play Anywhere’ scheme through which players receive a free copy on Xbox if they purchase a game on PC and vice-versa.
It still unknown though whether the same deal applies to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard so players might just have to buy the game on both platforms to take advantage of the cross save.
Another interesting revelation regarding Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is that it also supports a 4K resolution. A demo of the game is currently available, while the latest trailer was released back in October.
The teaser video shows one of the Bakers, the family who live in the mansion in the game, being shot – but bullets aren’t enough to take him out – resulting in a terrifying trailer (and even more terrifying game-play, probably). Most of the juicy details are being kept tightly under wraps, though.
At the time of release the game will be available for £49.99 for the standard version and £69.99 for the deluxe edition.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set for release on January 24 2017.
