The latest PS4 update 4.70 has been released worldwide and can be downloaded. This update is relatively a small one and addresses small bugs and fixes/improvements. There aren’t any significant changes in the patch, Sony might be keeping the big stuff hidden until the 5.0 update.
As of now, the official patch for the update are here as the update went live. The patch notes state that the update improves stability and performance along with some minor bug fixes. The file size is a small 340mb, fitting for the small chances.
If you are one of those who have been waiting for greater improvements and better features to be added, be sure to know that Sony is constantly working to bring them to you. The latest improvement was the addition and refinement of the Boost Mode for PS4 Pro consoles to further improve gaming performance and quality. This, along with other betterments, is only a first in Sony’s plan for their current-gen line of consoles as E3 2017 is just around the corner.
E3 2017 that is scheduled for mid-June will be sure to bring some exciting new things (maybe even a 5.0 update) for the PS4 so be sure to stay tuned! Let us know what you think about the new update in the comments section below!
