A PS4 PlayerUnknown’s Battleground might be becoming a possibility if a recent report from Bloomberg is to be believed.
The Developers Bluehole have been reaping in the benefits after the phenomenal success of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and it has seen the company increase 5 times and is now valued at $4.6 Billion.
We already know that an Xbox One version of PUBG is all set to be released this year , however it appears that one of the most hottest games currently will not remain an exclusive to Windows and the Xbox One. That is if the comments made by Bluehole’s Founder Chang Byung-Gyu are anything to go by. He said that Bluehole is currently in talks with Sony about bringing a PS4 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds . here is the exact excerpt from Bloomberg.
“Chang says his company has had talks with all of the major console companies about bringing PUBG to a broader audience. Microsoft Corp. will launch the title exclusively on Xbox later this year. Bluehole is in talks with Sony about introducing a version for the PlayStation after that. “
The news comes from perhaps one of the most reliable news and media outlets and although the article does not say that there is going to be a PS4 PlayerUnknown’s Battleground for sure , it does however indicate a strong possibility. Which will undoubtedly be music to the ears of a lot of PS4 fans.
PUBG is absolutely huge right now and it makes sense that Bluehole would want it’s game to be on arguably the best console of this generation. It will allow them to gain a whole new player base and this will undoubtedly lead to an increase in revenue.
In my opinion it looks increasingly likely that PUBG will be heading to the PS4 in somewhere around late 2018. Let us know what you think , by commenting in the comments section below.
