Star Wars battlefront II is one of the most eagerly awaited titles of 2017, and it now appears that it might be getting some PSVR content as well.
There have been no formal announcements made for this and hence we are treating this news bit with a bit of skepticism although it does look legit. The bit of information comes from some keen eyed observers over at NeoGAF who shared an image from the Danish PlayStation newsletter. The claim was then also backed up by another user who went on to say that the same image is also on the German PlayStation newsletter as well.
Here is the image in question which says Star Wars Battlefront II is PSVR compatible in the Danish language.
However its unlikely that the entire game will be PSVR compatible and it is likely that only a single mission or mode will be compatible with the PSVR. In the past Battlefront II’s predecessor came with a PSVR X-Wing mission , and it is likely that we may get a couple of missions which are VR compatible , however for that we might have to wait till E3 2017 for an official announcement.
We presently do know that EA is working on a single player mode for which they have bought three of their best studios to work on, and it remains to be seen whether or not the game meets the high expectations of the fans and critics.
Star Wars Battlefront II is the sequel to the rebooted Star Wars Battlefront and will be available on 17th November for the PS4 , Xbox One and PC. Those who order the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition for $79.99 will have early access on 14th November.
