Ever since Sony’s E3 Conference, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for PSX (Playstation Experience) to get an update (and maybe a trailer or two) for all the upcoming games that weren’t covered during E3 (we’re looking at you, Last of Us 2).
The event’s date and location have now been announced. PSX 2017 will be a two day event, and will take place on December 9th and 10th at Anahiem. The conference will feature all things PlayStation, from the PS4 and PS Vita to PSVR. The event usually has a massive turn-out of fans, but some tickets are still up for grabs so if you’re interested in going, make sure you get one now!
According to PlayStation, “PlayStation Experience is a truly magical time of year, and this year thousands of fans will descend on the lovely Anahiem Convention Center to experience the latest and greatest in PlayStation gaming.”
“That includes hands-on time with PS4 Pro on huge, gorgeous Sony 4K HDR TV’s, dozens of PlayStation VR demos, game developer panels, rare merchandise and collectibles, and a whole lot more.”
Early ticket holders will get a bonus day of festivities on December 8th. An invite-only event will be held to celebrate and gear up for PlayStation Experience: “During the special event, you’ll have a chance to get up-close and personal with game developers and PlayStation personalities.”
Capcom has also teamed up with Sony to combine Capcom Cup 2017 with PlayStation Experience. “At PSX, a special tournament stage will dedicated to the highest level Street Fighter V competition in the world, with matches taking place all day on Sunday, culminating in the Grand Finals event on Sunday evening. Watch the top qualifying players from the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour battle their way for more than $250,000 in prizing and the chance to be crowned the 2017 Street Fighter V World Champion.”
