Xbox One X has been in the spotlight as being one of the most powerful consoles in existence and for its claims of true 4k. Phil Spencer has been talking to the press and answering questions about Xbox One X and about its many capabilities. In an interview recently with The Guardian Spencer and Mike Yabara, they said that their 4k gaming console will make people not keep track of time.
As per Yabara, they are in a position to give Dolby Atmos spatial audio, high-dynamic range, 8-million pixels on the screen which will make people lose track of the time. The aim at the back of Xbox One X was to create immersion and so Microsoft believes that they have finally created a box which will deliver the very best to Xbox fans.
Phil Spencer agreed with Yabara and added to it saying that he spoke to Patrick Soderlund and how the grass looked absolutely amazing in the latest edition of the long running Madden franchise. Here is what he said:
“I was on the EA stage talking to Patrick Söderlund about Madden, and one of the things he commented on was how the grass looks, and how it moves. He said if you had somebody circle 10 things on the screen that are different about running on Xbox One X, nobody would ever pick up on that, but subconsciously, as visuals get more lifelike your brain notices when stuff like that isn’t quite right. 4K can be just about the physics, maybe even just the way the trees move.”
Without a doubt Xbox One X is one beast of a console however it remains to be seen if it can bring back Microsoft into the console race , as it stands though they have been playing second fiddle to the PS4.
Xbox One X is scheduled for release later this year for the western world , whilst it will be released for Japan later on year. Its worth noting that the Japanese have been rather cold towards the Xbox in general and tend to favor the hometown hero the PlayStation, and hence it will be interesting to see how it performs in the land of the rising sun.
