Phil Spencer recently took to Twitter to answer a few questions regarding Xbox One Scorpio and Backwards Compatibility. 2017 is going to be a big year for Microsoft and it is hoping to hit the proverbial “Home-Run”  with the release of the Xbox One Scorpio. On the other hand, many fans are stressing out about the launch of the games for the console and Xbox head Phil Spencer has mentioned that having first-party games set for Xbox One Scorpio is absolutely critical.

On Twitter  Phil Spencer was asked by a fan if the Xbox One Scorpio is going to have a launch title and the response to him by Spencer was, ‘Having our [first-party] games ready for Scorpio is critical’.

It is possible that Phil may be referring to the first party titles of Xbox One to be upgraded for the console that is yet to be released, and this would make even more sense as Microsoft would rather have the first part titles to be updated before the launch of Xbox One Scorpio.

With regards to a fan inquiring about the lack of BC titles recently  Phil was of the opinion that pretty soon they would be getting a fantastic BC titles , yet he was still on the fence regarding Black Ops 2 being released as a Backwards Compatibility title in the near future.

Warner Bros. also just confirmed that the game available for Project Scorpio by them during its launch is going to be Shadow of War. The highly anticipated sequel to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor will be releasing on Xbox One and other consoles on 22nd August in North America and 25th August in Europe.

The console Xbox One Scorpio is expected to be unveiled at the E3 this year and Microsoft has been marketing it as native 4K capable with 6 TFLOPs of computational power. Let us know if you plan on getting yourself one by commenting in the comments section below
