Xbox games will be playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.To people who have been wanting to rekindle the days of their Xbox past, now is the time! Microsoft just announced that they will be making the original Xbox games backwards compatible with the Xbox One lineup.
In Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference perhaps the biggest announcement was Xbox games being made backwards compatible. This is one of the marvels of reverse engineering and one the first title that was on display was Crimson Skies. That is the only confirmed title so far as Phil Spencer went on to say that more classic titles will be headed our way later this year.
Phil Spencer just revealed that they will be bringing original Xbox games available to the Xbox One series that includes the recently revealed Xbox One S and the previous Xbox One S/regular Xbox. All of this was talked about at the Microsoft E3 conference that just took place and a lot of stuff was detailed. Including their outline for the future , and how they had taken the community feedback and set about improving backwards compatibility.
