Ps4 hack

PS4 has yet again cemented its place at the top of the proverbial console mountain top in the latest NPD reports.

The NPD group has, once again, revealed data sheets about the sales for June in North America. The most selling console was the PS4 and Tekken 7 was the game that raked in the most sales during this month which released recently. The PS4 has been making good progress in terms of sales although we expect that to change later this year, when the Xbox One X is released. This increase in sales for the PS4 was probably due to the launch of the gold and silver versions of the console this month that sold pretty well.

The Nintendo Switch has also been doing great in terms of sales, but it is restricted to a limited number due to it’s stocking issues. The demand for the Switch is high but there aren’t enough pieces being shipped out to retailers for it to truly take advantage of that. Due to the PS4 having a great month, hardware sales went up by 27% in June, but software sales only went up by 1% for consoles and 2% for PC.

Below are the best-selling games according to the NPD for June in their order:

  1. Tekken 7
  2. Injustice 2
  3. Grand Theft Auto V
  4. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
  5. Arms
  6. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  7. Mario Kart 8
  8. Overwatch
  9. NBA 2K17
  10. Horizon Zero Dawn
  11. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands
  12. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
  13. MLB 17: The Show
  14. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege
  15. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  16. Battlefield 1
  17. Minecraft
  18. The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
  19. FIFA 17
  20. Forza Horizon 3

Tekken 7 topped the charts for North America with Injustice 2 behind it, fighting games were really popular during the month. The N.Sane Trilogy is at an impressive number 4 on the list with only 2 days of sale and with a reduced price than the others! With the strong likes of Legend of Zelda and Horizon: Zero Dawn, Prey did not make the list due to the competition being so strong.
