There was an early Christmas present for an entire flight of Southwest Airlines passengers courtesy of Nintendo. Each person on board not only received a brand new Nintendo 3DS XL they also got a digital copy of Super Mario Maker for the system. To make the occasion even better, Mario himself was waiting to greet the passengers when their flight landed.
Designed by Shigefumi Hino and Yoshikazu Yamashita, Super Mario Maker is a side-scrolling platform video game and game creation system developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U game console, which released worldwide in September 2015.
Below you can check out an official video of the surprise below courtesy of a tweet on Southwest Airline’s official Twitter account.
