The developer of Mass Effect Andromeda, Bioware has been sharing details regarding the upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game, with the latest news providing us with some interesting revelations.
Through the ever present community over at Reddit who have gone through the latest issue of PC Gamer magazine Bioware has decided to replace the dodge roll with a dash for fast paced action, the rest of the details you can view below.
- dodge roll has been replaced with a dash, useful for getting from cover to cover, this is conjunction with being able to jump makes for fast mobile combat. you can aim mid-jump to activate a slow hover that is useful for setting up combo’s.
- renegade/paragon system has been replaced with a 4 chat option, head,casual,heart and professional giving me choice in the personality of your ryder.
- there are apparently different types of planets i.e. 1 type is a story planet, this planet is one mainly consisting of open exploration and side quests. Planets also have environmental hazards like those seen in no man’s sky i.e. radiation, too hot and too cold.
- the nomad was partially designed and tested by a small team from need for speed, take this as you will.
With Mass Effect Andromeda set to support the PS4 Pro many people will no doubt be anxious to learn whether the same would happen with Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One Scorpio. Well the game’s director, Mac Walters certainly seems to think that the game could come to the console one day.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is set to launch on 21 March 2017.
