Crackdown 3 hasn’t had any new info out since some time but that’s going to change as the developers mentioned this in their latest tweet. More news regarding the game for Xbox One and PC is “on the horizon” as the game’s official twitter page says .
“2017 is shaping up to be great! #Crackdown3 info is on the horizon, and we’re ready to bring the boom!”, this is what was said in the tweet. There was also speculation that this information might be revealed at the Project Scorpio reveal that is on Thursday. To this, the developers had to say: “We have no insight in to what other teams are working on, but Crackdown news will start rolling out BIG TIME in the coming months.”
This might mean that they are still holding out until E3 2017 to reveal more information about the game but we might get to see or hear something during the Scorpio reveal. Other than that, E3 takes place in June and that’s where the big guns will be brought out by every developer so be sure to stay updated about it.
Crackdown 3, which was initially expected to be released in 2016, was delayed till 2017 as Microsoft said that their holiday line was already filled up with great games. However, it was later confirmed that there is still work needed to be done on the game before release and that is why it was postponed.
Crackdown 3 is supposed to run at 4K on Project Scorpio and it will have a similar release as to the console. Reagent Games are doing their best at working with series veteran, David Jones, to make Crackdown 3 as good as possible for the players. It is surely a hyped exclusive.
