EA just put out a new trailer for the upcoming Need For Speed Payback. The video showcases how much freedom players get with customization in this entry of the series and it seems to be a lot. The new option to build a car from scrap looks interesting and has been shown in this new trailer too! You can check out the said trailer below
This video also lists all the bonuses you would get if you pre-order the game and they are quite a few! As previously mentioned, you would be eligible to get access to the Platinum Car Pack which would give players immediate access to the five following cars:
- Nissan 350Z 2008
- Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967
- Dodge Charger R/T 1969
- Ford F-150 Raptor 2016
- Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016
The game was revealed back in June and we had seen a bit of the in-game customization options at E3 but nothing was taken into much detail so this video trailer is all for that. The racer in the game is said to have been motivated by the Fast and Furious movies. The game seems to be taking a direction for this by the looks of the trailers, there are high-paced action scenes that look directly inspired from the Fast and Furious franchise.
There is confirmed support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X but the question that most people have on their minds is whether there will be a Switch version, but this is highly unlikely. The devs had a bit to say on that subject while talking about the game.
“Would that be a platform that Need for Speed: Payback could run on? I don’t see why [not], but it’s not something we’re looking to at this very moment,”, this is what EA’s executive producer Marcus Nilsson had to say when asked about the possibility of a Switch version for the game.
Need for Speed Payback comes out November 10 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC so be sure to stay tuned for everything more on it!
