Metro Exodus is the third game in the Metro franchise and is being developed by 4A Games. For those of you who tuned in to Microsoft’s E3 Press conference this year, you would have seen a gameplay video of the game and by all accounts it didn’t look out of place within the other highly rated AAA titles . The game is scheduled to come out for the PS4 , Xbox One and PC.
The Game was a masterpiece as far as the demo is concerned which wasn’t really a big of a surprise for fans who follow 4A Games as the previous installments in the franchise namely Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light are also one the most visually stunning First-Person Shooters.
It was later revealed in an Interview during E3 2017 that the the game wasn’t really running on the Xbox One X but a PC who had the same framework as the Xbox One X in terms of specifications (Deep Sigh).
While talking to Official Xbox Magazine UK in Isssue #155, 4A Games Executive Producer Jonathan Bloch explained how he admired the craftsmanship of the Xbox One X which will be availabe on November 7th and explane how stunning footage the showed in the demo was made.
“The power of the Xbox One X will allow to ensure the game looks amazing. The trailer was recorded in-engine from a gameplay sequence players will find later on in the game. We removed things like HUD, and Quick Time Events prompts, choreographed the playthrough and music to fit the needs of the trailer, but the game looks like what you see.”
It looks increasingly likely that Metro Exodus is gong to be at the top of the wish list for many enthusiasts who are going to be purchasing the Xbox One X. However they may have to wait quite a while as the game is supposed to come out in 2018.
