Marvels Doctor Strange Releases Exclusive Sneak Peak


Doctor Strange, the upcoming movie of Marvel’s superhero starring Benedict Cumberbatch has released an Exclusive Sneak Peak on YouTube of one minute ( on Tuesday 30th August 2016 under the title ‘Open Your Mind’. In the movie, Cumberbatch is shown as a medical doctor going on a mystical journey and ending up learning magic which saves mankind. The sneak peak video mainly shows the characters which are surrounding Strange in the movie by training and challenging him; they finally got their moment in the spotlight.

The release of the upcoming movie of Marvel Entertainment being just about two months away, this new behind-the-scenes video provides fans more hints on what to expect when it actually comes in cinemas. Before this, not much was known about the movie from the trailer. This short clip basically is a segment from a full featurette which is going to be included in the Special Features on the Blu-Ray/DVD for Captain America: Civil War. It, however, did not mention Doctor Strange’s rumored villain which was perhaps leaked by Community writer Dan Harmon;

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.”

The video is based on information around ‘Karl Mordo’ which is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor and the ‘Ancient One’ which is played by Tilda Swinton. More background was given by the producer of the movie, Kevin Feige, on ‘Kaecilius’ which is being played by Mads Mikkelsen. On the contrary, how similar the movie will be to the original comic is yet to be known but we have our hopes high this time.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, Doctor Strange is going to hit theaters on the following dates;

  • USA – 4th November 2016
