EA Access, available only for Xbox One and PC, is one of the best value services in gaming for Xbox One users, as well PC users with Origin Access. Now it seems the services biggest supporters that have stuck with it from the beginning are recieving ‘thank you’ packages from the good folks over at EA. And let me just say in advance the contents of the package are real neat to say the very least.
In fact, the official Twitter account of the service is sharing tweets from the lucky subscribers that have recieved the package. The package contains a 2TB external hard disk for Xbox One, plus a few months of free EA Access. A letter is also included in the package, which explains that the package is a way to thank long time subscribers of EA Access, and that the hard drive is there to help with all the free digital games that members can get from the EA Access Vault.
The members get access to the EA Access Vault, which contains over 40 games available for users to download and play at anytime, as long as members have an active subscription. Members also get early access to new EA games, including AAA games like the newly-released Mass Effect: Andromeda, as well as discounts on digital games.
Its been almost 3 years since the launch of EA Access, which began in August 2014. The service cost $4.99 per month, or $29.99 per year. The thank you packages seem to be addressed only to users that have subscribed to the service since it’s launch. It hasn’t been confirmed whether Origin Access, which launched awhile after EA Access, is doing the same thing.
