We are not far away from the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after waiting for more than five years since the last Zelda game was released, people are definitely hyped and craving for the latest installment. Breath of the Wild is set to launch early next month but now there are several reports floating around the internet that he Wii U version of the game has already been leaked.
According to reports a compressed version of the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild has seemed to appear online. It’s believed that as of now the game cannot actually be played however some people have been playing around with files to uncover some sort of content. The game itself cannot be launched but some fans have managed to crack open individual files to access exclusive content that isn’t present in any trailers or gameplay footage such as a high quality image of the game’s title screen.
The leak is initially believed to have started on 4chan, since then public forums such as Twitter, NeoGAF and the Zelda subreddit are now flooded with several posts featuring unannounced details, plus attempts to prove the leak is real. From what we can tell so far a few elements of the leaks seem to be authentic, while others can’t be confirmed at this point.
A word of advice for anyone that prefers to go into the game fresh and spoiler free is to be careful since there is now information out there that can spoil the fun for you. Since there is not long until The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild finally releases we hope you can manage to stay spoiler free and enjoy the game.
