Inhumans Might Not Live Up To The Hype: Here’s Why

Marvel Inhumans has quite a bumpy ride with the fans. Both the trailers of Marvel’s latest superhero series were bombarded with criticism by the fans. Normally, if you have an entertainment company, it’s quite normal to receive backlash from the fans. The audience is extremely diverse and you can’t seem to satisfy everyone. However, things just might get a little shaky if the fans view becomes popular opinion and is backed by the show’s director as well.

Marvel Inhumans’ trailer was criticized by the show’s director Roel Reine too.  As reported by Screen Rant, Reine regarding the first trailer said that “I was mixed about the first trailer as well. I felt like it didn’t give you the scope, it didn’t give you a lot of secrets or visual effects. I felt it was a little bit too early because the visual effects were not ready – Medusa’s hair was not ready. So I was really nervous about it and would think the fans would not really like it. The trailer was made by other people, so I was really nervous about it when I saw it. So I was like, ‘oh guys maybe we should hold off’, but it was too late because it was already in the open.”

This clearly shows that Marvel is intensifying its pace when it comes to TV shows and might be even compromising quality. The competition in the super hero TV show industry has increased rapidly and companies are doing their utmost to ramp up production without considering the side effects.

The second trailer of Inhumans did went well with Reine as he said that “I’m very happy we kind of changed it around. The second trailer really got all the fans back on track and they really like it now and they really want to see it. I was really happy with that second trailer.”

But fans also pointed errors in the latest trailer. Marvel would really need to rethink their quality and should do something to live up to the audience’s expectations. What’s even worse is that the latest TCA panel didn’t go well either. The fans bombarded the team with questions and they were all but disappointed with their responses.
