Hideo Kojima Talked Death Stranding Before Tokyo Games Show, Teased Mads Mikkelsen And Guillermo Del Toro Involvement

Few could have predicted the demise of the working relationship between legendary developer Hideo Kojima, and Konami However he recently came back with his latest offering Death Stranding whose lead protagonist is Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead fame.
Mr. Kojima appeared on stage during Sony’s Tokyo game Show press conference and talked about the game in detail which is going to be released for the PC and PS4. According to him the game is an action game in an open world, and an emphasis on storytelling, which has in recent years become the trademark of most Kojima games. He also stated that the game would have an online element; however it is unknown at this time as to how large that element is. Kojima also stated that the players will be tethered and connected by ropes.
Del Toro’s relationship with both Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro is well known. With the latter working with him on the revamped Silent Hills whose playable teaser stared Norman Reedus, and which received critical acclaim. The project however was cancelled to the dismay of many fans and gaming enthusiasts. While discussing the game an image popped up on the screen which featured lookalikes of Kojima, Reedus, del Toro, and a certain Mads Mikkelsen. The image featured below certainly teases the possibility of both del Toro and Mikkelsen to be involved with the game in some capacity.

Along with the cryptic descriptions Kojima did provide some technical information as well. Death Stranding will support 4K resolution and HDR color output for users of the PS4 Pro.
At this time it is unclear when the game will be released, however with this much star power at hand , and a legendary developer at the helms of the project Death Stranding has got to be one of the most anticipated titles in recent history.
