Expected to be released worldwide on September 27, FIFA 17 fans were in for a treat as some of the player’s ratings were leaked over the internet by closed beta testers. Every team sheet is now available to view, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United coming out top with quite a few high notable ratings.
The leaked rating left fans speculating, while some were satisfied seeing their key players receive a boost, others were not so ecstatic terming the ratings unfair. Even though the demo provided to beta testers will be the same one that’s released globally in September, it’s unclear whether EA Sports goes forward with these very ratings, or if there’s a slight change. However, fans are delighted and content enough to take a look for now and make their own judgments.
Out of the revealed ratings, David De Gea comes out on top as the world’s finest goalkeeper with a rating of 91, that surpasses Manuel Neuer’s highest of 90 in FIFA 16, while Chelsea’s towering first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois gets an 89. Another Manchester United star hitting the 90 benchmark is none other than the Swedish God, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former PSG star made his mark as the first choice striker for his new club by scoring three times in two competitive matches. The only other striker to come close is Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero who gets an 89, while Chelsea’s Diego Costa gets a modest 86. Another Chelsea star to feature in the high ratings category is none other than the midfield maestro, Eden Hazard who shares the same rating as his teammate Courtois. Although the Belgium International star had an off season last term, the midfield prodigy will look to get back in the form that saw him win the ‘Player Of The Year Honours’ in the 14-15 season. Another City star to feature is Kevin De Bruyne, who gets a rating of 88. The player enjoyed a fine debut season at the Etihad, and will hope match his teammate Aguero in the next edition. The only Arsenal player to feature on our high ratings list is none other than Mesut Ozil, who enjoys a fine 88. Nicknamed ‘The Assist King’ the German International was an integral part of Wenger’s side as they finished 2nd last season. Paul Pogba, David Silva, Petr Cech and Cesc Fabregas all get a rating of 87 to end the list of the players with highest ratings on FIFA 17.
