The first DLC of HZD . Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds has finally gotten a release date to the delight of the fans.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is a masterpiece that was delivered to us by Guerilla Games this year and it was received greatly by critics and players alike. It was only right for the developers to unveil the first expansion for the game, The Frozen Wilds, at E3 2017 and it looked gorgeous.
There was no confirmed release date for the game at E3 but it was confirmed that it will be arriving sometime in late 2017. We now officially have a release date as Jeroen Roding, Community Manager at Guerilla Games, announced that the story DLC will be available to play on November 7,2017. He stated that more information will be revealed as the release date draws near and we can be sure to hear more from them about the expansion.
Horizon: Zero Dawn took the market by storm when it first came out and it gathered extremely positive reviews. Seamus Blackley said that it “takes ball” to put out a game like Horizon: Zero Dawn and praised Yoshida for producing such an amazing experience for us to witness.
“I want big release. 100 million Dollar bet” that requires a lot of courage. Blackley said Guerrilla is a great developer but that it takes “balls” to bring such projects to the market and that Yoshida “is the man” for sticking by it even if it wasn’t looking too good at times during the development.”
Guerilla are even in talks about a possible sequel to the game which is well deserved considering how much the game has grown in popularity since release. They will be surely committed on a sequel right after Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds release.
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds releases on November 7,2017 for the PS4 and the PS4 Pro and you must have a copy of Horizon: Zero Dawn (either physical or digital) to play it. Be sure to stay tuned for more!
