Divinity: Original Sin 2 has knocked Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) of the top of the Steam charts.
PUBG has been racking up the charts in terms of sales ever since it first appeared in Steam Early Access and it is growing by the day (with an Xbox One release coming this year). But it seems that it has been dethroned by Divinity: Original Sin 2 which has been released recently! It has immediately climbed the Top Sellers charts and has been received very well by the Steam audience. This is big news, considering PUBG topped these charts in a matter of less than 3 months in Early Access, Divinity: Original Sin 2 has done it in a matter of days.
The game has debuted very well and the reviews are coming in really positive too. The first Divinity: Original Sin had a large following and that is partly why the Kickstarter for the sequel hit it’s $500,000 goal in less than 12 hours! The studio behind the game, Larian Studios, put the game in early access in 2016 and exactly one year later we are getting a full-fledged release.
The RPG is really diverse; allowing people to choose their own stats, race and origin. The journey in the sprawling open-world is a really pleasant experience with a complex leveling-system. If you liked Diablo, you should really check out Divinity: Original Sin 2. The game is designed primarily for those who love isometric adventures! There is a lot to explore and do in this world.
As far as PUBG goes, it will stay strong with it’s massive fan-following and developer support so fans need not worry. Within hours of this news breaking it has managed to regain top spot yet again. well that was quick.
