Bungie recently revealed The Dawning event which will be taking place from December 13 to January 3 , where the players can expect amongst other things Sparrow racing. The Dawning event will see players compete through several themed extravaganzas and game modes.
The best part is that after January 3 of next year the option of Sparrow Racing will become permanent in the private matches option.
Players who own the Rise Of Iron Expansion will have access to four courses in private matches, while those who have The Taken King expansion will have access to only two courses. Also the newly announced Striker Scoring mode will also become a permanent feature following the conclusion of The Dawning.
With Destiny 2 inbound in 2017 and Activision seemingly on track with the release date according to Activision CEO Eric Hirschberg.
“We’re on track and excited about what we think is going to be an awesome sequel for Destiny in 2017, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said during its financial briefing earlier in November.”The sequel is designed to excite both our highly engaged current players, but also to broaden the appeal even further, bringing in new fans and bringing back old fans as well.”
