One of the most anticipated games of 2017 Destiny 2 will be heading to PC , and the Master Race can finally rejoice as they will have the opportunity to experience Destiny’s universe for the very first time on their PC’s .
In a recent conference call CEO Eric Hirschberg talked about how Destiny 2 would impress PC Gamers
With respect to PC, we’re committed to delivering meaningful features that are bespoke for the PC community. I’m really excited about what we have to show for them,” Hirshberg said in the company’s recent Q1 2017 earnings call.
He further went on to say that he would save the details for the 18th May Gameplay reveal event
“But I’m going to leave the details of those for our gameplay premiere event which is happening on May 18. And we’ll have some additional, obviously, exciting announcements on the game overall at that time as well.”
It will be interesting to see how Destiny 2 performs on PC , as it is going to be the franchise’s debut on the platform. In the past we have seen some pretty shoddy PC ports and hence I understand the skepticism that a few within the gaming community might have , but all signs indicate that Destiny 2 will have no problems whatsoever.
However as was the case with the first game Activision will continue to offer lengthy timed exclusives for the PS4, with the first DLC remaining exclusive to the platform until Fall 2018.
What this means is should the game release per schedule on September 2017 , and the DLC releases a few months after , Xbox gamers will have to wait nearly a year to get their hands on the DLC.
