Death Stranding’s Trailer Has Various Hints According To Kojima

Mads Mikkelsen

Death Stranding continues to leave the masses baffled as gamers try to get a grasp over things.

Unfortunately the new trailer for Hideo Kojima’s upcoming mystery game only added to the confusion. For starters, why was Guillermo Del Tero holding a baby in a jar? Why are there skeleton soldiers? Why is Mads Mikkelsen’s character horrifying? and just what the game is all about seems to be the question on every one’s mind

These are probably just some of the questions going through the viewers mind. You can check out the trailer down below

Kojima himself the cheeky bastard decided to have his own bit of fun with anxious fans.

To further tease fans he Tweeted out that the trailer contains a lot of ‘hints’ or ‘misleads,’ and encouraged fans to watch it carefully and repeatedly in the hopes of finding more clues.

Kojima also confirmed that Norman Reedus’ character  will be the playable character in Death Stranding while  Mads Mikkelsen’s character is apparently the leader of some military group and it should be safe to assume he’s the antagonist. The implication is that Del Toro’s character does not want to be caught with the baby in the jar.

There’s also an amusing Easter egg for the keen eyed lads. If you watch the first and second trailers at simultaneously, you witness a vintage Kojima, At the exact moment the baby disappears from naked Norman Reedus in the first trailer, it appears back in Del Toro’s jar in the second trailer.

There’s still a lot of work to be done on Death Stranding and a long while till hits the shelves. In the meantime the rest of us can try and figure out what on earth is going on. Have any theories? What did you make of the trailer? Let us know in the comments section below.
