The first trailer for Call of Duty: WWII is here along with a lot of details regarding the game’s story and multiplayer. The worldwide reveal of the trailer confirmed a lot of things about the game and it’s World War II setting. The release date for the game is also confirmed as November 3 but a private beta is coming really soon as confirmed by the developers.
The new details for the story mode were revealed and the storyline is going to be centered around Ronald “Red” Daniels, a U.S Army private. The campaign will follow Daniels and his U.S First Infantry Division as they fight through Europe during 1944 to 1945 during World War II.
The famous Normandy is going to be available to play in as D-Day returns in WWII. Other notable places include Paris and Germany. Along with D-Day, the Battle of Bulge will also be featured in the game as it is one of the two most notable battles.
The star-studded cast of the previous game, Infinite Warfare, was pretty impressive with the likes of Kit Harrington and Conor McGregor being included. This time around, the cast features Josh Duhamel (famously known for his role in Transformers), Jonathan Tucker and Jeffrey Pierce.
There will also be a separate co-op campaign with an original story but details about that are yet to be revealed. There were also a couple of details revealed about the multiplayer of the new game. The inclusion of a War Mode featuring real World War II stories is pretty interesting. There is also going to be social hub where players can wait in between battles much like Destiny’s Tower. It is called the Headquarters.
