Bungie is on its way to Anaheim in the month of December for the PlayStation Experience. The next two weeks could be crucial for any news regarding a Destiny sequel as the developer Bungie is expected to give a massive hint regarding the announcement of Destiny 2. Since Destiny 2 is expected to be released in 2017 an announcement should be imminent and judging from the closing passages in this week’s Destiny blog, the Destiny 2 announcement could happen at either the PlayStation Experience event in December or at The Game Awards.

Next week, Thanksgiving will be visited upon our shores,” the post reads. “There will still be blog fodder for your reading eyes. Intelligence reports it will be random and light.

“The week after, we’ll be packing our bags for Anaheim, CA. The particulars of our mission are still a mystery. We’ll cross that finish line soon.”

The Game Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on December 1 with the PlayStation Experience following shortly on December 3 and December 4.Although the two events are separate, if you’re attending the PlayStation Experience you can get a special bundle ticket for both events.

“PlayStation Experience attendees now get a special bundle ticket offer for The Game Awards, taking place on December 1 in Los Angeles, just two days before PlayStation Experience 2016.

“The Game Awards tickets can be purchased as an add-on to PlayStation Experience tickets for just $10 extra. If you have already bought your PlayStation Experience tickets, you may log into your account to retroactively add the bundle to your purchase.”

The PlayStation Experience will not only feature developer panels and merchandise etc. Attendees can also get hands-on time with the PS4 Pro as well as the PlayStation VR.

So with a Destiny sequel set to be announced sooner rather than later are you looking forward to it?

D2 was more than “hinted at” when Bungie sold their souls to the Devil, and signed a long-term contract with Activision. Did anyone really think the publisher of Call of Doody was only going to expect 1 game from Bungie during the span of their 10-year deal??
