Bloodborne 2 Is On It’s Way According To Ori And The Blind Forest Dev

We may yet see Bloodborne 2 at E3 2017 , that is if we take the word of Ori and The Blind Forest Devs Moon Studios.

Recently, the legendary Dark Souls series was put to rest with Dark Souls 3’s final DLC “The Ringed City”. From Software have not released any plans about a new IP or a sequel for its brilliant PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne.

However, many predict that we might be getting an announcement at E3 2017 about a Bloodborne sequel. Recently on a NeoGAF forum, a developer from Moon Studios commented about the possibility of a Bloodborne sequel on a thread about the rumors.

Thomas Mahler said that there is a 99% chance that Bloodborne 2 is coming and we will get a glimpse of it at E3 2017 in June. Whether this was a serious prediction or just an antic to mess around with fans, it is highly possible that it actually be true.

There were no further comments by the developer in the thread after his prediction so it’s hard to tell whether if the industry insider was actually true about his belief. Many others have also been predicting a Bloodborne 2 because of the first game’s huge success. The game went on to receive notable awards, a equally punishing DLC and a game of the year edition too.

Bloodborne was released in 2015 exclusively for the PS4 and got really great reviews. It took the Dark Souls formula and revamped it in a great manner with faster combat and an even darker setting and story. Bloodborne 2 will be highly anticipated by the fans of the series and it is only wise that Sony capitalize on the IP.
