Black Ops 2 Is Added To List Of Xbox One Backwards Compatible Games


Microsoft has announced that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now available to be played on their latest generation consoles via backwards compatibility. There was much anticipation regarding Black Ops 2 being added to the list of games that are backwards compatible for the Xbox One after the original Black Ops was added. With fans making their voices heard after constantly pestering Phil Spencer and the others on Twitter for its release.


Treyarch did an amazing job with Black Ops 2 and that’s why it is a must play for everyone that is a fan of the series or is just looking for a good first-person shooter. It is considered by many as one of the best games in the series. With impeccable multiplayer and a really fun zombie mode, it is definitely going to be good news for a lot of players. The story was considered amazing too comparatively to the newer installments.


Those that played on the Xbox 360 will get all of their stats and achievements transferred over to the Xbox One if they are using the same account so that is a plus point for players who invested a lot of time on weapon farming and XP. Those who own the disc version can start playing by just inserting the game in the console while those who own it digitally can download it on the Xbox Store.


The list of Call Of Duty games that are backwards compatible is already pretty large as it includes Call of Duty 2 and 3, World At War and Black Ops 1. The addition of Black Ops 2 is a favourable one and one that was expected by most people.
