Bioware’s new IP is reportedly a sci-fi game which takes after the likes of Destiny and Tom Clancy’s The Division and will incorporate co-op play and role playing elements. The game is also reportedly going to be announced on E3 2017
The project was reportedly first teased back in 2014, however the strangest part is the fact that it is named Dylan, yes I ain’t pulling your leg as in Bob Dylan, however that might be a code word.>
The news comes from Liam Robertson’s who is mostly known for his work on Did You Know Gaming. The said information is from his podcast which backers at his Patreon page only have access to.
Here is what he had to say
“They’ve been quiet about what their new IP is for a good while,” . “This is a project that’s been in development for around four years, it’s currently set to be revealed at E3 2017… I don’t know if they’ve said this publicly, it’s set to come out next year.
“It’s name right now is ‘Dylan’ – there’s no other way to say it right now, it’s Dylan, as in Bob Dylan. I believe that relates to the main character.”
“Dylan is, from what I understand, a sci-fi themed game, it is sort of Destiny-style, takes some elements from The Division, it has like MMO elements. Someone described it as a ‘semi-MMO’. I don’t know much more than that… it is a huge scale project, perhaps the biggest BioWare has ever done. It’s bigger than Mass Effect Andromeda, considerably so. It will have co-op.
He has also gone on to say that he is pretty sure about the information , and that he has triple checked it from his trusted sources.
In January Bioware’s released a short statement where Aaryn Flynn alluded to the game and said that they had begun crafting a new universe as far back as 2012, and would draw upon their 20+ years of knowledge to create a compelling new universe.
