Over 100 Titles Are In Development For Nintendo Switch

by now we are all aware that the Nintendo Switch will be released on 3rd March 2017. We also know a bit about the launch titles that will be released with perhaps Legend Of Zelda: The Breath of The Wild being the most anticipated of the lot.

In a recent Financial Results Briefing President Tatsumi Kimishima said that the titles in development since January 13 which at that time were 80 from 50 different Software publishers has now gone upto  “over 100 titles from more than 70 publishers.”

“After the presentation on January 13, we have continued to receive requests from more and more software publishers who want to develop games for the system. At the presentation, we announced that there were over 80 titles in development from more than 50 software publishers, but that number has now climbed to over 100 titles from more than 70 publishers. Please look forward to more announcements about the software lineup in the future”

So it seems Nintendo is adding to its arsenal day by day , and it will be interesting to see if any other surprises are in store for us before 3rd March. If rumors are to be believed there is a possibility that we may get to see Rockstars L.A Noire on the Nintendo Switch as well.

The Nintendo Switch launch lineup has been accused of being paltry , however I have a feeling that there are going to be more titles added and Nintendo will come out all guns blazing come March 3rd. Here are some of the games confirmed for launch.

  • 1-2-Switch
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Skylanders Imaginators
  • Just Dance 2017
  • Super Bomberman R
  • Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+
  • I Am Setsuna
  • World of Goo
  • Little Inferno
  • Human Resource Machine
